いつもの定食屋さんでシャケをつついていたら、仕事に対する思いがふと浮かび、映画の字幕のようにおでこのあたりを流れて行きました。
多分、今後に対する自戒の念なんだと思います☺️
🌿I enjoy this world because I get to learn new words every day, and feel the changes in the world. More than anything, I appreciate the current environment in which I can still contribute to people’s communication with such a simple function as translation.
🌿All that matters in the world of interpreting is how well you perform today. And that performance is determined by preparation, not how long you’ve been in the business. A well prepared junior could exceed the performance of a veteran who thinks they can perform just by experience. This is a philosophy that keeps me on my toes every single day.

通訳の世界で大切なのは、今どれだけ力を発揮できるかです。そして、そのパフォーマンス（仕事ぶり）は経験年数ではなく準備によって決まります。経験だけで通用すると思っているベテランよりも、しっかり準備した新米の方がパフォーマンスは上かもしれない。このような哲学を持ち、日々精進しています。
